Green Campaign vs. Islam Awareness Week?

Posted by: admin

"Islam Awareness Week AND Green Campaign?" Many people think that the Green Campaign is a bit difficult to fit in especially around the time when most ISocs are concentrating on Islam Awareness Week.

Actually, the Green Campaign is the perfect compliment to IAW. Whereas IAW is usually all about the theory of Dawah with talks and lectures, Green Campaign is active and engaging with non-Muslims... basically putting the theory into practice. It's a way to get people involved and show them that not only are Muslims nice people, but or faith is literally about saving the world! Join our Green Team today to come up with equally funny and cool ways to get home the Eco-message and save the planet.

Alhumdulillah, the first ISoc to officially confirm participation in the Green Campaign of ULU ISoc is Royal Holloway. As places are limited, any Islamic societies wanting to take part in this project should contact us via the forum asap!
