Tarbiyyah
Our aim was to start the history series of Webinars with the Caliphate of Abu Bakr (R), however, we realise that the period preceding that was quite hazy for many of us and therefore worthy of covering. Why not start with the seerah? Alhumdulillah, there are many god books that cover the seerah of the Prophet (SAW) in vivid detail including Raheeq ul Mukhtoom, The Moon split and Martin Lings magnum opus. Equally, there are many circles covering these areas. There's even the movie called "The Message" and apparently there are at least two more movies in production. Therefore, we're starting our history series at the end of the Seerah.

The next ULU ISoc Webinar promises to be an exciting presentation and chance to learn about Divine Love. As we delve into the topic of spirituality we hope that you'll be able to join us and give us your thoughts. We've taken on board the suggestions and criticisms from the first Webinar including sticking to time and allowing more interaction.

The first ULU ISoc Webinar was on How and Why to seek knowledge. We thought it would be a fitting introduction to our series of Webinars that intends to be a resource for Muslim students that is accessible inshaAllah. Watch this space or the Unity Blog for the notes or even a video of the webinar in the coming days.

The Tarbiyyah section is under development but we shall soon be starting our monthly Webinars and circles - so stay tuned. If you would like to help, go to the forum and sign up to the Tarbiyyah team. Together - we can take personal and Islamic development whilst at University to a different level inshaAllah!
